Is Havoc only for pipeline construction?

No. While Havoc was built for the specific demands of pipeline and midstream construction - stationing logic, HDD tracking, spread management - it is used across a range of linear infrastructure programs including fiber deployments, transmission line construction, and roadway projects. If your project involves managing daily progress across multiple crews and connecting field data to budget and schedule, Havoc is built for it.

How does the anti-double-dip logic actually work?

When a daily report is submitted in Havoc, the system checks the reported stationing against every other report in the project. If any portion of the reported mileage has already been claimed by another entry - within the same spread or across different contractors - it is flagged before the report is finalized. This prevents duplicate billing from making it into an invoice in the first place, rather than catching it after the fact during an audit.

Does Havoc replace our existing construction management tools?

Havoc is purpose-built for linear infrastructure and handles the specific workflows - spread-based progress, stationing validation, HDD reporting, and invoice support - that general construction platforms like Procore or HCSS require significant customization to replicate. In most cases, Havoc replaces those tools for the linear construction phase of a project, while integrating with your broader project management infrastructure where needed.
